Feeling Blue Sangria

Feeling Blue Sangria is our take on a fruity, refreshing summer sangria, featuring our Blueberry Patch dry red wine and our Blueberry Vanilla Hard Cider. This recipe can be customized with your favorite seasonal fruits! Perfect for a hot summer day or cookout with the family.

Ingredients
1 bottle of our Blueberry Patch dry red wine (chilled)
1 cup of our Blueberry Vanilla Cider
1 large orange
1 cup thinly sliced seasonal fruit (blueberries, apples, raspberries)
1 small lemon
1 small lime, sliced into thin rounds
1-2 TBSP simple syrup
Instructions
Slice the orange in half, working from the stem end down. Squeeze the juice of 1/2 the orange into your sangria pitcher. Slice the remaining orange half into thin slices and place in pitcher.
Cut your lemon and seasonal fruit into thin slices (or cubes if working with melon or pineapple). Add to the pitcher.
Pour a bottle of Blueberry Patch (chilled wine) into the pitcher.
Add simple syrup and sweeten the sangria to taste.
Serve in a glass over ice and top off with Blueberry Vanilla hard cider. For a deeper fruity flavor, leave the wine and fruit mixture in the refrigerator for 2-8 hours and reserve the Blueberry Vanilla hard cider until just before serving.
(Optional) Give it an extra kick by adding 2 oz. of Grand Marnier or Triple Sec.
